GET INVOLVED

Funds for our programmes & services are raised from different sources. More than half of our total funds come from donors, trusts and corporate social. The balance of our funds are made up of self-generated income, the Department of Health, as well as Social Development and Special Programmes.

How we maximise our impact:

  1.   Decentralizing – our presence being more community-based.
  2.   Cutting overheads – our work from home policy for field workers.
  3.   Focus on generating income from work  programmes.
  4.   Events

Fundraising through proposals will always remain the back-bone of our income revenue. We actively work towards being less reliant on state departments, changing relations, and becoming expert consultants in the field of community-based mental health.

The best example of sustainability is found in nature, where there is a balanced eco-system and a constant replenishing of resources. Depletion of one resource leads to imbalance and threatens the health of the whole system. All organisms are responsible for regenerating the system and there is a natural rhythm and sense of harmony.
